Frank’s Funk
This next piece is dedicated to two very meaningful Franks in my life.
Frank Lorusso, the first time I saw Frank, he was sitting on a suitcase
playing drums with THE INFLUENCE a very unique band way ahead of its time in 1968. I was overwhelmed by his playing.
Nobody played drums like YumYum.
He was an angel that unfortunately met a devil. I really miss him.

Frank Zappa, prolific genius, was to me the Father of Music.
The only one who could create a bridge between Varese, Stavinzky,
Classical, Rock’Roll, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Big Band, Opera....
He was the Mozart of his era.
He wrote like crazy. He left us an immense amount of music.
Great voice, he wrote amazing lyrics and was vicious on the guitar.
He was a brilliant, funny, very entertaining man.

I developed a passion for music inspired by these unique
individuals and would like to celebrate the New Year by honoring them.

Let’s be Frank. Let’s be Real. Let’s be True.
